waiting for court

 We have been waiting for a court date since Septemeber 14th. We are officially going bonkers. We have ZERO idea when we will get a court date...

Could be tomorrow OR could be in 4 weeks?

THEN

Court could be in a few days OR in 4-6 weeks? 

There is no timeline anymore... I was certain we would have court the first week in October and we would travel the end of October or the beginning of November.  Now I am just hoping home by Christmas. Once we have court scheduled we will have a pretty good idea of when we will travel, but cannot book everything until our court decree is signed by the judge. Typically, this takes 10 days, BUT in a fun twist to the waiting game, we have learned that some people have waited 6 weeks... 12 weeks.  So we will just cross our fingers that it's 10 days and we can travel a month after court.  

We got to Skype with sweet D a week ago.  We learned his favorite songs and got to dance with him.  He has grown TWO inches since July. And we learned he likes to wear a scarf (it's precious). We cannot wait to actually meet him. 

Right now we are finishing up setting up his sleep area and organizing all the things. Cross your fingers that we hear of a court date SOON and that we get to travel before Christmas.
