Thankful To Be Home for Thanksgiving

We're home! And we've been home since the day before Thanksgiving.

And promptly got on the swings the next day.

It was a pretty crazy 26 hours of travel, in which Kit slept on Adam for a cumulative total of 20 minutes in the Seattle airport. That's right, 26 hours of travel, 20 minutes of sleep for a 3.5 year old.

He was TIRED!

Flights ended up being just fine, Kit is really enjoying his new-found freedom of picking up his food to eat - he was exclusively spoonfed (more like "shovelfed") while at the orphanage. Fortunately for us, he spent a lot of time snacking and had no issues with taking off/landing or with ear stuff.

Time home has surprassed our expectations. Leo and Magnolia have invited Kit to play a few times, but all kids have essentially found their own thing to do. And Kit loves to watch them being silly throwing paper airplanes, droppng LEGO vehicles down the stairs, and things of that nature.

We're just so glad to be home before Thanksgiving. Bulgaria instituted another lockdown on the Friday after we left, which essentially reinforces all the things that were somewhat in place before, and just felt more of a 'lockdown' then before. There were rumblings of this occuring while we were in-country, and were glad to be home before then.
